How to read these figures
- •“Left the listings” is not the same as “sold”. An ad can be taken down, it can expire, and the seller can change their mind.
- •We can only measure cars that have already left. The ones standing for sale for years are not in this figure — so the true selling time is longer than what is shown here.
- •The period starts on 09.09.2026: from that date our nightly pass walks the whole catalogue every night. Older data would describe our own backfill, not the market.
- •Every price here is an asking price from a listing, not a transaction price. Mileage is shown as the seller stated it.

Methodology
The issue is frozen: the figures are fixed on the publication date and are never recalculated. The one exception is an unfinished month, which is replaced as soon as the month ends.
We count the Latvian market without AutoPase showroom cars (they stand physically in Germany) and without “wanted to buy” ads. These figures therefore describe the market, not our own stock.
Days are the difference between the day the listing disappeared and the date shown on the ad itself on ss.lv.
We publish a distribution, not a trend: the series of readings is still short, and month-to-month comparisons will only become possible after several issues.
No row is published with fewer than 100 cars behind it, and brand tables use a higher floor. A sample that is too small is dropped rather than printed as a small number.
